Sarget de Gruaud Larose is the second wine of Château Gruaud Larose. This wine comes from a vineyard of 82 hectares in the Saint-Julien appellation. The vines have an average age of 25 years of age and they grow in Garrone gravel. The aging is done in barrels (15% in new barrels and the rest in old barrels with one or two wines) for at least 14 months.
The Sarget de Gruaud Larose 2016 is a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc.
