2014 Feytit Clinet 75CL
TASTING NOTES:
Wine Rating: RP 92 points Drink by: 2019 - 2035 The 2014 Feytit Clinet has a crisp bouquet with violet-tinged black fruit, understated and very precise (a leitmotif of Jeremy Chasseuil's wine). The palate is clean and precise, very well defined with a mineral-infused finish that lingers long in the mouth. There is nothing ostentatious about this wine, rather it is all about the composure, refinement and precision. It can be summed up in two words: Bon vin! |
“Château Feytit Clinet is located due west of the famous plateau of Pomerol, close to Château Clinet, Latour Pomerol and Clos LEglise.
The earliest mentions of Château Feytit Clinet date all the way back to 1825, when it was owned by a member of the de Gombault family. By 1964, the estate entered into a lease and management agreement with Ets. Moueix that lasted until 2000. At that point in time the Chasseuil family once again took control of Château Feytit Clinet and began to change things for the better at this Right Bank property and their wines.” - winecellarinsider
