2014 Duluc De Branaire Ducru 75CL
TASTING NOTES:Wine Rating: WS 89 points|
Drink by: 2018 - 2024Fresh and approachable in feel, with plum compote and blackberry reduction notes laced with licorice and violet hints. The moderate structure is brambly in feel. The fruit wins out easily on the finish. Best from 2018 through 2024.
Located in Saint Julien, Château Branaire-Ducru was originally part of Château Beychevelle. Jean-Baptiste Braneyre bought the property and became known as Château Branaire in 1680 after he gave the estate his name. After almost 200 years, in 1875, Gustave Ducru became the sole proprietor, thus giving birth to the name Branaire-Ducru.
