From the famous Pomerol producer and owner of L’Eglise Clinet, Denis Durantou has turned out a Castillon made from a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc.
Typical of his wines, the terrific purity, texture and overall equilibrium are flawless. Deep ruby/purple-tinged, with sweet black cherry, plum and black currant fruit, the wine has vivid purity, good acidity and ripe tannin. It is medium-bodied, opulent and best drunk over the next 5-7 years.

Château Montlandrie is situated in Cotes de Castillon and is owned by the brilliant Denis Durantou, owner of Châteu L’Eglise Clinet in Pomerol as well as vines with Château Saintayme, Château Cruzelles and Château Chenade - who purchased the property in 2009.

The vineyards are planted with a majority of Merlot (65%) then Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) however Cabernet Sauvignon has only been used since the 2013 vintage.
