2015 Le Nardian 75CL
TASTING NOTES:
The 2015 Le Nardian, made up of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Muscadelle and 20% Sémillon, is scented of liquid peaches, cedar and lemon meringue pie with touches of green mango and passion fruit plus a waft of jasmine.

Le Nardian is the product of a wager between the now-retired Consulting Oenologue, Gilles Pauquet (also consultant to Châteaux Cheval Blanc, Figeac, and Canon), and Jonathan Maltus that a low cropped white would see similar benefits to a red wine. The first wine was produced in 2000, and it continues to sell out.
Le Nardian is an atypical Bordeaux dry white wine made up of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon, and 20% Muscadelle. The vines are situated on a perfect clay-over-limestone soil/terroir just south of the Dordogne River, at the village of Lugaignac. The aspect is a full-on south facing slope.
